Qris Yamashita is a noted artist and graphic designer based in Los Angeles. She is a lifelong member of Senshin Buddhist Temple and Kinnara Taiko. Her artistic style is widely regarded as having created a visual identity for post-war SoCal Japanese American culture related to the Asian American movement. Her work was featured in the 2011 exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum titled Drawing the Line: Japanese American Art, Design & Activism in Post-War Los Angeles.
